Harrisburg, PA – February 20, 2024 – Today, Commonwealth Strategic Partners (CSP) is proud to announce the addition of Kayla Clare, a new team member for CSP’s Harrisburg office.
Kayla is a senior at Penn State Harrisburg pursuing dual degrees in political science and American studies. Prior to joining CSP, she interned with the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee. She plans to attend law school in the fall of 2024 with a focus on public interest. Kayla is also the recipient of the Steven A. Peterson Political Science and Public Policy Award for her academic success.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to intern with CSP and eager to learn from the team,” said Clare.
Kayla met CSP co-founder Keith Pemrick at Penn State Harrisburg, where Pemrick serves as an adjunct professor. Pemrick teaches The Legislative Process, an upper-level course designed to challenge students.
“Because of her hard work and passion for the material, Kayla stood out in my class immediately,” said Pemrick. “I knew she would be a great fit for our growing Harrisburg team, and I look forward to watching her excel.”
“Kayla’s addition to our team is timely as CSP continues to grow in Harrisburg,” Clements said. “Kayla is extremely talented with a personal passion for advocacy and public policy, and I look forward to working alongside of her.”
